      Really?

Please explain then, as I'm dying to hear this.
Not that my spelling is grate (See what I did there?), but that was spelt incorrectly, and I can't see how you can argue otherwise?!

      Rhetorical, by the way

GTP after that post from Benny I thought you might of kept quiet.

He really put you to the sword and then you have the nerve to reply with even more waffle.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

          Back to the thread...

What would his return say about Rowlands' future? Not in terms of Rowlands' ability but I would have assumed that if we were in need of cover than Rowlands would have been the man to provide this. Derry and Faurlin are the natural starters - Buzsaky and Leigertwood in as replacements and Rowlands cover until full fitness but if Mahon is being brought back in just what does this mean for Martin?

I'd say Martin is fine, but a gamble with his injuries. Legs is the one who would certainly not get a look in if and when Mahon was brought back into the squad.

I see Rowlands as cover to Faurlin and I see Mahon cover for Derry.

Legs should be cover for our 2 right backs as he isn't good enough for centre of midfield, so with Mahon signing I don't see that effecting Rowlands.

Back to the subject of the thread - now there's a radical suggestion...

I guess if its a month by month contract it is probably pretty cheap. Rowlands still injured and to play Legs again in current form/ mood would be an act of unusual cruelty. So probably not a bad short term shout, esp if Faurlin is still struggling. However as stated elsewhere if there is a fitness crisis in midfield I'd be tempted to bring Orr in at right back and Walker into midfield.

I hope he is fine. As for Mahon I'd certainly welcome him back into the squad. I can't believe we extended Legs' contract but allowed Mahon's to run out.

Mahon is a very good player to have as cover.

And to think Wolves were circling for Legs and fantastical sums were being talked about. Think he needs a period out on loan to rebuild his confidence.

Totally agree mate. Be careful though, as you'll now be considered as part of this 'click' thing

I have to say, I was wrong about Legs. I always rated him, but he's been disappointing this season. He's had a real good chance to show what he can do as part of a very capable squad, but he's really let himself down.

It's a good job we have the likes of Faurlin returning, and with Rowlands being close and Mahon as a possibility, things ate looking on the up again for us.

where was that thread that the norwich fan said how many of our team walk into theirs, well i seriously dont believe mahon would walk into any other team in the top 6.
yeah, fine substitute, but if we are having to consider him as a starter due to injuries etc, then the wheels are coming off a bit.
my opinion, thats all, e bully me for it, i dont give a shite.

always been a fan of mahon. Not as good as Derry, but gives his all, and sprays the ball aroudn well. Would do a decent job if Derry was injured

For me it's not about individuals it's about team. Hill, Helguson & Derry would struggle to get in many sides but as part of a team they are invaluable.

I don't want us to have 11 fabulous players who are the best in the league - I want a team.

Ok - to start with, i'm not in a clique, no body knows me and i don't care.

I like to answer questions/points as i see them and not others.

On another thread GTP - you got slaughtered for some reason because you said we could play all day and not score.I agreed with you.

Not being a regular on here but for some reason , people have a pop at you.Don't know why and don't care.

The original post was mahon coming back - and i think most agreed and you didn't.

On Saturday - when we lost Buz, it was apparent to everyone that Legs looked a liability.Faurlin is coming back and Rowly taken a step backwards, which means in that position we are now lacking(slightly).NW doesn't like to use loans - so by signing gavin on month to month, to me looks like good business sense for both parties.

It was no coincidence that last years form dipped, once gavin was out. With a heavy amount of games coming up - makes good sense to draft in this sort of player. If we continue to resot to Legs, we will get undone by a better team.

The posters are not really ganging up and yes, everyone is entitiled to their opinion, but in this case,... you are wrong.

i dont understand why people on here dont get things when people type them. i never said i didnt want him in the squad, the article says 'first team start tomorrow night', and its that to which im asking is it an april fools joke. if we are starting players like gavin mahon this season after playing out of our skins and remaining unbeaten, then something is going wrong.
anyone who thinks different to that then fine, but i want premiership football, and i want it bad. and to me mahon as first choice is not good enough to bring us that.
maybe i dont see his briilliance like you mate, but i have watched him a fair few times, and hes not as good as any other first team starter we have.
if we have to resrt to starting him, then we really are at the bare bones of our squad, and that doesnt bode well, cos its a long hard season.
but if im wrong, then ive been watching the wrong game for years.
