Swanley he has been very poor of late.

My mates summed it up who both r liverpool fans. He has a great touch and control but his final ball is poor. He had a bad game lets not kid ourselves. I hope I really do hope that faurlin can bring the best out of adel. Faurlin is a big big player but adel has gone back to his old bad habits IMHO. The best part of adels games were his corners and thats worrying. Defence 1st class and walkers was a joy to watch. Lets give credit when its due ffs
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

mate, you need to watch the first 25 minutes against norwich, he was simply class.

Okay, as the game progresses his head goes down and goes deep to get the ball, but the manager will work on that.

If you take Tarrabt out of the game, then really think much of our play is average.

AT being poor is still better than the others in the team. He's working hard and flagging quickly as a result.
I think someone summed it up in another thread, without Faurlin it's almost like he's trying to do the work of two. Like last season, when he didn't trust team-mates to pass it to.
I still think AF's return will see a change in several players, for the better, and AT will be one.
Faurlin is my hero!!! Love him!!! #########

A 20 min performance doesn't do it for me.

He is going to get frustrated in every game we struggle in? well there will be plenty of games like that. Don;t get me wrong he has been our best player at the beginning of the season but his recent form has been poor. His final ball has been dreadful. I hope fraulin makes the difference to his form. I would also like to see smith in for hogan. Players need to know there is now real competition for places which I actually think is healthy.

                I say drop him....

While we're at it, let's get Stewart back and partner him with Hall. Drop Kenny for Elvis and get Josh Parker and Legs in for Derry and Faurlin. Maybe Aggy for HH whilst we're at it?

In all seriousness...If a player isn't playing well, then he should be dropped, no matter who he is, but I sincerely think that bringing Faurlin back in will make AT a far better player once again. For me, AF is THE best player at the club, as well as the most important. He makes both Derry and Taarabt perform to their best and his vision and ability to pick out any pass, making it look simple is a joy to watch.
                Your mum would love me...

So Taarabat only passes to people he trusts with the ball, wow, lets hope that other players do not follow the captains example and don't pass to him.

IMO, the difference at the moment to the first 5-6 games is Taarabt had a spring in his step and was passing and moving and a joy to watch, now he seems to jog around in patches of the game with his head down, doing to much and we will find out on Tuesday, if this is because Faurlin has not been playing.

A good indication is the crowds reaction / response to things and as I said on another thread, when was the last time you heard "Taarabt's too good for you" and why does Mackie now get the loudest cheer when the teams are read out before kick-off.

All I know is that with a passing and moving Taarabt, QPR FC were flying.

I cant see how Derry could have performed any better in the games Faurlin has missed, if he can, I cant wait to see how he plays when Faurlin is back in the team.

While I wouldn't entertain dropping Taarabt, now is going to be a really interesting time for the season. With colder days, longer nights, muddier pitches, midweek away trips to places like Swansea and the opposition teams targeting him, it is the time for him to show he isn't the same stroppy b*st'd we had on loan.
I wonder is the gloves will get a run out on Tuesday?

Swanley I do find you a very good poster but you need to be careful because I have caught you contradicting yourself at times.

You use an excuse about other players not being good enough for Taraabt to pass to yet when rowlands were mentioned you said I think he would struggle to get into a much better side? U can't have it both ways. Yes Faurlin is out but surely adel needs to work with what he's got instead of just passing to the opposition. Like I say the best part of his game were his corners for me I want to see much more from someone that has a great 1st touch.

Pete, this post does not make any sense, you are saying he had a good 25 minutes and then his head went down, so for 52 minutes he was poor/average and then you say without him, our play is average ?.

Pete made a silly comment because it is quite disrespectful to the rest of the team. Mackie didn't have a good game on sat but has been fantanstic this season. IMHO he is much more dangerous as an attacking threat. For me adel does it in glimpses but he looks a yard slow. I know he is not an athlete but I think thats something that could help improve his game.
