  • Disappointing, But We Won;t Win Them All

Its shame we never tested the Norwich keeper today, apart from a curved shot in the first half from Tarrabt and late shot from Tommy Smith.

I was surprised how well Norwich City played and they were very well origanised and could have well scored on the break. I thought Kyle Walker showed some class on the right hand side and whilst many players had an off day thought Derry was excellent especially in the first half.

Not sure if the International breaks are a good thing because you cannot really focus on the upcoming games and anything you try in training would exclude 3-4 players.

I was surprised that Buzsacky was replaced by Leigterwood, but the abuse we tend to give him when he misplaces must be offputting and doubt it does anything for his confidence. It now means he thinks about every pass and would effect the way he plays

Tarrabt was excellent in the first 20 minutes, but his head tends to go down when things don't go his way and he tended to go deeper esepcially in the second half to get the ball. In the end he was rightly taken off, even though was surprised Ageymang came on. I know he has pace and the idea was to play him more central, but it must have been 10 minutes before he even touched the ball. I would be concerned we seemed to resort to the long ball, near the end.

Been complimentary of Helguson this season, but this was not one of his better games and he only started to win headers late in the second half, Hogan and Mackie found it difficult to find space and Hill at the back was was being bullied by Holt most of the afternoon.

All in all, this will show how much character the players have because it won't be getting any easier this week with visits to Swansea and Bristol. Lets hope we can get back to winning ways in at least one of those games, if we don't get at least 3 points the pressure will inevitably mount on the players.

Great position to be in though and after 11 games we are top of the table and every fan would have taken at the start.

The last few games since Faurlin was injured!
I can't believe that some people cannot see that his injury is the reason, and that, when he returns, so will our early form!!!
      Have faith, people!
Faurlin is my hero!!! Love him!!! #########

Have to agree that Faurlin is a major cog in the machine. Did'nt want to admit it until today - but I can see now - we really miss him. I guess cos he's not a prolific goalscorer his contribution can sometimes be overlooked?

Assuming he's match-fit, not just fit.

It's no disgrace dropping two points against Norwich, if we lost say to a bottom 3 club, Sheffield United, that would be cause for concern, and the international break doesn't help matters.

I would have taken a draw before the game, Norwich are good on the road And just for info - that was the first time in 32 away games that Norwich Failed to score !

Some people make out like it's the end of the world! Every single person here would have taken being 4 points clear after 11 games so just pipe down and enjoy it a bit instead of criticising the most minor detail! Goals have dried up? We didn't score two in our last away game then? We have been missing Faulin and Buzsak yesterday and a central midfield or Derry and and unblievably bad Legs is not going to create goals!

Pete pretty much agree with your report, didn't think Norwich were that fantastic, they have no1 in that team that I would want in our team but they have a fairly solid team. We could have been caught on the counter a couple of times but we defended brilliantly today overall and we could quite easily have sneaked a goal we had a few chances.
Legs was dreadful and Walker was absolutely different class!

In regards Faurlin surely you must be match fit to be on the bench?

It doesnt take a brain-surgeon to see that ever since Faurlin got injured the team's performances have dropped.

                        No not at all.

He's had Rowly on the bench this season when not match fit, same with Faurlin yesterday.

If you have mounting injuries and just need a player for 20 minutes or so then NW would have no choice but to put them on the bench.
