  • My take on the game.

Two good teams. Qpr struggled to create enough chances. So I do now wonder if this is the time to make a few changes in the team. God knows what had happened if Buzz hadnt got injuried that early on, but on the basis of todays performance we seem to lack a plan B AND the players who can create a bit more than Hogan and Helgusson were able to this afternoon.
Norwich organized their defence in a very proper way so I would have thought that Tommy Smith should have started the game or at least got more time to make an impact to shine than the last 15 minutes or so. I should believe that he is the best player bar an injured Hulse and Taraabt to creat chancesfrom almost nothing. Correct me if Im wrong, but Dave was almost non excistent when he came on
As I said Norwich was a solid team and not easy to break down but I would have guessed that Faurlin(The expert of throughballs) in addition to the above mentioned Tommy Smith could have made this match a much more enjoyable one for us QPR supporters. The Norwich defence dident let Gorkks and Helgusson too much space at all. Towards the end of the match I couldnt really see us snatch a late win this time. Kyle Walker, my MOM, created chances after chances but not even the clever movements from Smith nor the aereal presence of Heidar did seem to pay dividents sadly enough.

A point against Norwich IS NOT a defeat but I would have liked Warnock to have put more faith in tommy Smith´s ability and routine this time.

    YOUrsssssssssssssssssssss

You can't argue with the starting line up as there was no need to change it. Legs was terrible, he had 30mins today, he had plenty of time to put a claim forward for a starting ace on Tuesday, buta half fit faurlin is better than him.

I thought gorks, connelly andwalker were brilliant today. Not our best peformance, but we remainundefeated. The sooner we get hulse, rowlands and faurlin back the better as we have a lot of gamescoming up

Nah, I feel Hogan is a bit rusty now. Too lightweight, if you ask me.

I actually felt sorry for him today, Tarabbt gets the ball, Hogan gets into good positions, then Tarbs doesn't pass it and loses the ball happened quite a few times today.

        Walker what a Player!

Thought adel had another quite game, as did Hogan, mackie.
HH couldn't win a ball in the air until around 75min, from then on won almost everything, strange its as if the guy marking him tired in the last 15.

Legs, awfull........why him instead of fourlin??

Worrid about Hill has been very lucky up till today in regards to giving away penaltys.

Overall a dissapointing game and result.
          They seek him here.................

Surprised how long ball we were as a team, particularly the last 15 minutes.

Walker best player on the pitch. Legs is definitely only a squad player on that showing.

Another point in the bank against a big physical Norwich side.

                  Just back.

Pretty good summary Rev, I think.

I thought our defence was excellent (all of them) but we had little to offer in terms of cutting edge in attack. Kyle Walker was outstanding, absolute quality player.
Clint Hill impressed me a lot also but, although I didn't have a great view, it looked a poor challenge to give away the penalty.

Adel was Adel. Hogan did not have much of a game but I agree with the fact that he lost out more than most to some poor decisions from Tarrabt. Adel did not seem to want to pass to him!

I have a lot of trust in Warnock but no one gets everything right always, and I could not understand at all why he bought Legs on and not Faurlin. Legs is just soooo poor :(
He has no vision and well, he just can't pass properly! I would have bought him off 15 mins after brining him on and put Faurlin on.

Tommy Smith should have been on for longer.

The other thing about today...the crowd. Full house but only noise from Norwich. The Norwich fans gave the QPR fans a lot of stick for poor support and I can't blame them. On the way home on the train I over heard some Norwich fans commenting that they couldn't believe our crowd - they felt it was the poorest home support they'd seen and then to think we are top of the league.

Why are we so quiet at home?

Yes, Leigertwood generally disappointed but the guy has not had much match time this year. He is a very hit and miss player. Has the attributes to be great and occasionally is but then has equally as likely to be poor.

Our key players have played two games in the last seven days. They will naturally be tired, hence the reason we need to have a big squad.

Walker was immense as was the defence in general. Have to say very few praise Clint Hill but Warnock said when he arrived that he gives you 9 out of 10 week in week out and that has shown to be the case.

Shame that Faurlin didnt get a look in. Think he is key to making us tick and it is no coincidence that our form/performances have dipped slightly since he has been injured.

Think our game plan went out of the window with Buzz being injured so early.
If it had been the second half, I suspect we would have seen Faurlin. But 20 minutes would have meant AF playing for over an hour, which NW didn't think he was ready for.

And a CM of Legs and Derry was always going to mean two things:
                            1) no creative support for the attacking players;
                            2) poor old Derry running his ar$e off to cover Legs' mistakes.
Faurlin is my hero!!! Love him!!! #########
