LR is our stadium. The club we all love is as much about us as it is about the players, staff and stadium...but the stadium is one of the biggest things that has defined us as a "club".

Don't be so quick to wish for new stadiums based on hopes without concrete foundations.

And also - forget this notion that a bowl is soul-less. It's about the fans, not the shape. Stadiums that are bowls, with roof and no track are fabulous for atmosphere.....and many that have the old english 4 sides are awful...like Highbury!

I love loftus road too, but, to grow as a 'club' and be sustainable in the premiership, we need a larger capacity. If it were possible, I'd love to see Loftus Road expanded. Love the place.

we must never play in a bowl , they are the worst . White Hart Lane without the Poles would be a good design

guys - I am not saying we should never move I am just saying a couple of things:

            1. we don't need to move now....maybe not for a long time or ever. Let's not talk like we are kings, when we are not even 10th in line for the throne.
            2. if we move - the idea that a bowl is less atmosperic is absurd - go to a few more stadiums and you will learn its about the fans not the shape - unless you have a big disstance between fans and pitch. Reading's stadium is a model for what we should have.

                Worst nightmare - 14,000 home crowd for a game v S****horpe in a 30k stadium in Uxbridge..

Bowl ruin the atmosphere? Do me a favour. Look at Stoke's ground, the away fans can barely hear us (from q/p/r blocks) and vice versa.

I been going to LR since the mid sixties, seen the ground rise from old wooden stands and concrete/mud terraces i love the place......but there comes a time when the club has to move forward.

Atmosphere is about noise and acoustics.
Doesn't matter if it is a bowl shape or 4 seperate sides, if you get the roof design right and not too high, to keep the noise in, then the atmosphere will benefit from it.
Hypothetically, If a stadium had a closeable roof, the atmosphere would be fantastic. Compare watching a band at Wembley Arena and Wembley Stadium for example.

Hasn't got the feeling of the crowd being on top of the players (oo-er missus!)

You could have a ground just the same as ours but bigger, without losing what makes it special.
