Saw quite a lot of Norwich on tv last season and watched their opener with Watford this season. They are strong going forward against average defenders and they are poor defensively and Watford showed that. This season we do not have 'average' defenders and we also have a midfield and forwards who score goals, the table don't lie. I think we will be too strong for them defensively and will cause them problems upfront.

Anyone that posts on a site called 'Pinkun' has got to be suspicious, and there's 3,000 of them coming down, that's more worrying than the game.

The Pink'un was a weekly, paid-for newspaper and website, that focused on Norwich City and also non-league football in Norfolk. The Pinkun was ceased after the paper didn't get enough buyers as everyone is now looking on the website. The paper is published every Saturday evening in Norwich during the football season. Published by Archant, the newspaper is closely linked to its sister publication, the Norwich Evening News.

I think The Financial Times is sometimes refered to as 'The Pink'Un'

Of course they're excited; newly promoted and now up near the top. Just makes it all the more satisfying after we send them off pointless and truly enlightened about what it takes to be a Big Beast in this league.

Yes, Lone. Though if memory serves it wasn't just Manchester (or just Norwich Fraggy) but was a pretty widespread phenomenon outside London. In London we had the Evening News/Standard classified with the results but out of London they used to sell a sports version of the paper which included scores and match reports and which often appeared on pink paper (hence "pick un"). Don't recall the green un version I must admit. Liverpool Echo did a version for sure, as did Brum etc. Amazing how they managed to get them on sale as you were walking out of the ground, complete with all the scores including the match you just walked out of.

As a teenager I could never understand how they managed that.
We'd get home to find the Evening News waiting for us at home in Welling, even though my dad had hurtled through London at breakneck speed to be home in time for the Generation Game, or whatever was on early evening.
                              Amazing bit of publishing.

Back to the point, though, NW, the master of mind games is at it again -- says we're in a false position/have got lucky, and, at the same time, bigs up the other team as being as good as/even better than us, and lets them and their fans think they're in with a chance of a result.
Then we wop their little butts from here to eternity.
