It shows you what a difference a year makes! Remember late last season when he was being counted on to score to keep us from getting relegated?

the plain fact is he,s not good enough, regardless of how many strikers it leaves us with. we still have aggy, smith, hogan was a striker at west ham so i dont think we need worry.

That would indicate Hulse is not far off at all.

Problem with German and players like Parker and Balanta unfortnately they are not going to get into a top Championship club. Their ego maybe quashed a little, but they need to get on with playing first team football. Time will tell if they develop into quality players

Never mind. As it seems that every poster who chooses a current player as a username (Ted, take note) finds that player soon offski, may I suggest you change your username to TheresOnlyOneRowanVine?

Which incidentally, by definition, wouldn't make sense.

Best thing for him to get some regular first team experience

A excellent decision. No where near a decent Championship player. Watching the Palace game last week there is a massive difference between the likes of him compared to Zahar etc... He's going to be about our 4th or 5th choice striker so this is the best thing he could do. Strikers thrive on confidence and if you're not playing then you're going to suffer. You never know things could change for him but I think he is pretty much the same as Richard Pacquette.
