  • charlie austin comming

looking through the larest news its not hard to work out who our next target is,QPR WERE SENDING A SCOUT TO WATCH SWINDON,austin dropped out with a shoulder injury,QPR SCOUT ANOUNCES HE NOT GOING TO THE MATCH

so how good is austin, well hes been valued at priceless by swindon who insist even a bid of ten million will be turned down

in reality i expect a bid of 6 million to be accepted if we get prem status
but this boy austin is tipped as a future full england center forward so lets just hope the big guns dont join in the chase

    IN WARNOCK WE TRUST

Ted - Austin was recommended to the Club when he was at Poole Town. We declined the chance to even give him a trial.

Very sad, thank god we now have a structure in-place, just to think under the old guard we would have lost out on the kid we recently picked up from Hayes.
      Kept the faith!

Well Six Million Dollars would be cheaper than Six Million Pounds.

They lost Billy Paynter to Leeds in the summer and he scored 29 goals last season. Also, Swindon are owned by some of the guys who own Betfair and it's about to be floated on the stock exchange for £1.5bln and they will divi up £300m from the sale.

Swindon need Austin as they'll might go down without him and they don't need the cash with the backing they have. Austin signed a new contract in the summer too and seems quite happy to learn his trade there.

just can't see this in Jan, but in the summer who knows.
