Hi Jeffro.Good point about Warnocks signings,as like you, I questioned the signings of both Derry and Hill.Think Warnock deserves the benifit of the doubt now.The Hulse question is a good point though - but sitting top and 6 points clear gives Warnock the right to say...trust in me....

Wrong diagnosis , even the Derby doctors didn't think it was as severe as it obviously is.

This isn't the first time we've took a gamble on a badly injured player.. Didn't we buy a player with a broken leg before ?
My memory is shocking so i cant remember who it was but i do remember we had no money so got him dirt cheap if not free and he went on to become a great player for us...
C'mon put me out of my misery and give my grey matter a kick
              We got our Ranger's back!

Who would the ones moanng drop by the way so he could play if fit?
It also aided in getting him in for next to nothing. His contract was coming up and he didn't want a new one at Derby and Derby knew this too. Our fee for his is all dependent on the amount of games he plays & promotion as well as a minimal fee up front was what I was told. If anyone else heard different feel free to correct me if I am wrong?

Seem to remember Nigel clough saying that selling Hulse was a good deal for Derby as he didn't think we would get more than 12 games out of him !!!!

                      he sure did - eventually...

It is pretty shocking that for a team top of the league we only have one decent out and out striker who is fit (and even he is nursing a torn something or other). So far we've got away with it but a match will come when Helguson has to go off, we are looking for a goal and we have to bring on Dave or Clarke.

The interesting comment I think has come from our Physio who stated that they were not rushing players back from injury but instead waiting to ensure recovery is 100%.

We now have the squad to cover for this and I think its the right move.

I think this is another factor in the long period its taking.

No, because Clarke is not fit either

Jokes aside, you make a very valid point

We bought Martin Rowlands from Brentford whilst he was still recovering from a broken leg, I seem to remember.
