          I think you are right.

Wonder what the actual figure is not including restricted view?

Saturday should be close to capacity.

19,106 according to Football Manager - which is pretty much the gospel in life.

There must be something on the official website.

We have people searching the net, computer games to find an answer

You still have to take them into account, ok i know with the away support they sometimes do not sell them but take my Season Ticket seat, it is classed as restricted view, even though (the fact is) it isn't.

there's capacity, and then there's the number of seats, and thy're not the same. number of seats is as is. capacity will be smaller because seats in upper school wings are always left empty.

Why don't we photograph and count them. Casual 80's must have a good camera for close ups, but can't do all the ground. Or, I'll count mine in SAR, all of them over a few weeks, including directors, press etc, and others can do the rest bit by bit. And then, what about the boxes?

and who's going to contact the club to see how they make their figures up? Do ST holders count even if they don't show? Can we nail this once and for all, or is this too simple to contemplate?

Hi Steve, Would never let me in the ground with my camera unless i was officially photographing the match, most pocket cameras are good enough nowadays though so anyone could do it if they wanted to.
Re the ST holders being counted, as far as i know they used to count them whether they turned up or not but, now they use the barcode scanner at the turnstiles it is more or less correct (less any tax fiddles, alledgedly)

I think you are all well out i think our capcity is around 16900. Fulham never got 18,000 before the changes against the big boys. They only averaged 16,000 over the 2 seasons.

If we get 17,000 on Saturday i will eat my hat.

steve has made a point - they don't sell tickets to all seats anymore.

If we had a big game and sold all the tickets and then everyone turned up - I think it would be very close to, but over, 18,000.

Problem is that when you have a smaller stadium - people not showing (ST, corp owned tickets (yes there are some passed around offices at companies) etc) make a bigger difference. And we always seem to let away fans have the school end when they only have 200 fans.

Having said all that we rarely sell out anyway. I don't buy the myth that we announce and report lower numbers as some sort of tax scam - it simply is a load of old tosh.

What has our biggest official gate been in last 5 years?
