Funny how before we saw this interview he was being put by some into the same mould as Bowles, Marsh etc, just shows he is not and never will be one of QPR's legends, not with the fans anyway.

any young player will turn their head if a prem club takes interest, don't know why people are surprised or disappointed, probably has something written in his contract.
As long as he plays well for QPR until January whats the problem.

        What's changed?

Very good performances in all but maybe 2 games, goals & assists to his name, captaincy & awards.

        Any more silly questions?

Well, have to say this is abit overhyped.

In Morrocco we are probably unknown and Newcastle United would have premiership coverage and he was just simply answering questions that were put to him on the spot.
It was not the best answer, but he is a young lad and was I guess bigging himself up a little. End of the day we only bought him in August, so him going in January ain't gonna happen.

He said in the summer he wanted to go somewhere hot to play his football, preferably Spain or France, but ended up at QPR so I wouldn't read too much into his comments, though suspect some will.

Get real plenty of clubs would pay good money for Taarabt.
im very real. no-one wanted him except us, and cos we are top of the league after 10 games does every player become a target for loads of clubs automatically then?
no-one will buy him, id bet my home and away kit on it.

We are not where we are in the table because of Adel Taraabt.
We are there because we are a team, a team that grafts for each other and like Mackie showed when he rolled the ball in front of Adel at Palace for a gi' me, a team that are not playing for themselves.
I enjoy watching Taraabt and am glad he is playing for us but if he thinks he can better himself elsewhere then good ridance. Only want 100% committed players wearing the shirt.

It´s so unneccessary and stupid to answer the question that way. Even if it won´t happen, it affects the feelgood factor and positive momentum we have here at the moment.

yeah, why should we be suprised or dissapointed that we have got the bar steward love child of diouf and anelka in blue and white hoops.

You're reading way too much in to this. He's young, not used with tricky interviews and, let's be honest, he won't compete with Clark Carlisle in the brighetst football player competition.

'i am playing for a club and manager that put faith in me and made me one of its biggest earners, we are top of the league and undefeated and im playing a part of that and want to stay with this club and play with them in the premiership'

He hasn't been outstanding. Two months in the Championship, playing in a side doing very well isn't gonna change much.

If I'm honest he has been average at best the whole of september. I don't think Taraabt makes our team and would be more upset if derry, faurlin or mackie where insinuating they wanted to leave. I am a firm believer in if a player doesn't want to be here they can go. Rest assured warnock will not tolerate this. Buszacky is a more hard working, equally capable player and would rather he got to play in his favoured position anyway. Wasted as a holding player.
15 years in the wilderness will be a distant memory come Sunday 8th May 2011.
