Think it's papertalk aswell, but one day his agent(and Adel himself) will be looking for a big deal somewhere. He was player of the month in august, if he was to continue his form for a whole season I think there might be some interest from spanish or french clubs regardless of his "history"

hes had one good month, one crap month.
shares can go down as well as up.

get rid i say. but its all silly talk, cos no club would pay a penny for him. we are stuck with each other.
consider your options in january, yeah right adel, what options you big headed mug, same options you had pre season. qpr and #### all else..

You are joking?? Why is it after most teams we play they always are quoted as saying "wish we had a player like that" or "Tarrabt was the difference" today. Yes he should not say things like this but this is over reacting. Im sure NW will have a quiet word with him and all will be good. Jheeze!

im not joking. hes trouble and a luxury most clubs in the championship cant afford, and no prem club would buy him either.
i know we won the massive race to sign him from tottenham beating a host of clubs. oh we didnt actually did we.
unsellable asset whos got the front to say 'ill consider my options in january'.
              its laughable.

Totally predictable and not at all surprising. I don't actually care; I think it's par for the course nowadays and typical of the sort of power players wield and how meaningless contracts are. Don't Aresnal have to put up with similar every transfer window with Fabregas... he must've been courting Barca for 3 years now but ultimately he's still at Arsenal AND still doing the business for them.
As long as Adel keeps delivering on the pitch I'm more or less happy. I'd like to think he'll play in the prem with us but if he sods off to Newcastle, WHam, whoever for a few million before that I won't be that shocked.

Thing is, in Adel's head he is still this megastar that all the top clubs are trying to sign. (And let's face it, Warnock most likely played on that and sold us to him on the basis of being a stepping stone to greater things - in fact I would bet 90% of Warnock's interaction with Adel is just puffing him up and telling him he's brilliant.) In that interview he says he's read about Newcastle's interest - no agent contact or anything, only read the cobblers in the papers same as us - and then assumes it to be true because in his head it's so very obvious, and anyway he's not going to lose face in front of the Moroccan media by considering otherwise. The nastiest part of that quote is him saying "if I CAN move" rather than "if I will"; as if he's just been waiting for his opportunity all along.

Unfortunately however, this is and will always be the nature of the beast with Adel. Forget about him ever falling in love with us - Rangers could be top 6 in the Premiership and he will still be looking over our shoulder. We can only take the pragmatic approach and make sure we keep getting the best out of this marriage of convenience (and no matter if he's been off form these last few games, we most certainly are right now) and that means indulging the little sod for as long as need be.

Gonna be a bit contrary here and say that if I was him, at his age, I'd be keeping my options open too.

Agree, 0 out of 10 for diplomacy though. And I've got "7 TAARABT" on the back of my shirt

So why did a mediocre (in pre-season) 2nd tier club get him for 600k then? Whats changed?
