Felt sorry for Mackie yesterday -- when he managed to unshackle himself from the "2nd fullback" role, he made a few decent runs off the ball and the rest of the team seemed to ignore him. Then, as soon as the sainted (and non-scoring) Kenny Miller came on, they were passing to him in a way they hadn't bothered doing to Mackie.
Shan't be happy if he gets injured playing for what looks like a very poor Scotland team, who don't seem to know how to get the best out of Mackie.Faurlin is my hero!!! Love him!!! #########

Scotlands tactics were dire and playing a 4-6-0 is never going to win you a game imo. They should have mixed it up a bit but there you go. I think the experience will do JM the world of good and he should grow in confidenceI blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags.
