QPR will re-sign Tottenham youngster Kyle Walker on loan this week.
And the deal will be classified as a 'youth loan', meaning it is a rolling deal that could run until the end of the season.
But as part of the agreement Spurs would be able to recall the 20-year-old at any time.
Walker joined the Championship leaders on a one-month loan deal in September, but that expires after the international break.
And Neil Warnock is desperate to keep the defender, who started every one of QPR's games during his initial stay at Loftus Road.
It is also thought that Walker is keen to extend his stay with QPR as he will be given the chance to play regular first-team football.
But one potential problem with the youth loan agreement is that it will expire on Walker's 21st birthday, which is on May 28 next year.
And with the Championship play-off Final not until May 30 there is a chance Walker could miss the big game if Rangers reach the Final at Wembley
