  • BBC Site and Chel**** staying at the Bridge

    Um, Interesting.

Wasn't there a rumour that they, along with ourselves, were looking at the BBC site as potential for building a new Stadium?

Now that they are out of the equation, could this mean we are first in line?

Now that would be massive news if it were the case and show huge intent from our Board.

Get promoted, build the current fan base in the Premier, whilst building a new Stadium and then move in - Lubbly Jubbly!!

Think, in 10 years we might have a 60K fan base - wishful thinking - and Chel**** a paltry 30-40K. Now that would be funny!!

I don't think it is something the board are going to let on about at this early stage, see how we do this season, time will tell.

The last thing we want is a soulless lego land stadium that every other club that has built a new stadium has.

There is nothing worse than watching a game in a stadium with less atmosphere than a morgue while looking at a sea of empty seats

Maybe thats true, but by building a new stadium they can factor in for future fans and those fans that stay away because of the facilities, which lets be fair are pretty ****. I love Loftus Road as much as the next fan, but would appreciate a more modern facility, where we're not shoehorned into our seats and there's room to breathe on the concourse. A must in the design, is the closeness of the pitch to the fans which must be retained. A 25-30,000 seater with the chance to extend would be ideal.

Be thankful that we don't have wooden seats

Think if we get a new stadium we have the potential to compete with Palace?
I know we don't have the ultras but it could be a step in the right direction?
