1diggdiggQPR boss Neil Warnock has no plans to recruit any new players when the transfer window reopens in January.

Warnock's side are six points clear at the top of the table after an unbeaten start to the season.

"I was asked five weeks ago what I needed. I said I don't want anything," Warnock told BBC London 94.9.

"I want to get the lads fit that are injured and then we'll have a look at it again in January."

"Last season in particular, we didn't have a bench that you could change games with," said Warnock.

"We had youngsters, but now we have got people on the bench who can change games. We've got three or four lads who aren't in the team now who are coming back to fitness.

"It's great for me, I'll have to make decisions about who to leave out rather than who to bring in."

I bet he will, the last thing any manager with a bit of brains should be saying is " I will be getting new playerrs in the next window"

The players currently doing the business Could drop their current high standards thinking, we will be dropped come January anyway so f... it why go that extra half mile.

Well I think he is trying to give the current crop of players confidence and belief.... last thing he wants to do is to say new players are coming in a few months time.

I tend to agree, he has a solid and confident squad, doesn't want to undermine their confidence, I think he'll get 3 players.

I agree Morris - the one thing Warnock says there is he will look again in January and not (as the header suggests) I have no plans to add in January!

Gianni won't allow a transfer window to come and go without getting a couple of deals done to keep things "ticking over".

There was no intent on my part to mislead.This was the heading or lead in both NewsNowQPR and on page 393 of last night's BBC Ceefax.I'm purely passing on what I read,and personally I have no thoughts on this issue one way or another.

Eh? I though analog was long dead and all you get now is the red button thingy. Ceefax - those were the days, many a day do I remember hitting 302 on the BBC and 140 on teletext. Are you saying that this ancient art still exists??
