A fine choice jeffro, a artist on the pitch. Also must add to strike the ball like that on the biggest stage the champions league final was breathtaking.

For me in my top 3 players to grace the game in my life time alongside Ronaldinho and Mr Messi.

For me, its Zidane, Maradona and Van Basten in my lifetime.

Though I personally think Paulo Maldini never gets a mention when he should as the finest defender to grace the game.

Maradonna was the greatest bar none. Only unpopular in this country. If you watched what he did at Napoli you would have brown pants. Pele was a fake. 1000 goals were nearly all against regional teams and only he managed to count that many.

Zidane was the best in last 20 years. Messi has always been rubbish for Argentina and has not done it for long enough, but maybe he will be the new Maradonna.

And as for George Best - he only played well for 3 years......though even he was better than Ronaldinho. I could name 5 Brazilians that have surpassed him.

paul gascoigne and dennis bergkamp, roy keane, fat ronaldo and stu pearce are prob my faves but best ever ive seen live is zidane. i think messi is too easy to stop, and too many just back off him,allowing him to do as he pleases
