I also take the point about fair weather - but as I say, I have been following the R's since the late 70's so am used to a little sunny, but mostly inclement, weather I guess.
I think the negativity on the board last year is not really a surprise. After so many lean years, so much had been promised, and yet it seemed that all we were actually getting were broken promises and more disappointment (rather an over simplification but you know what I mean) - it's only natural that spirits were not going to be at their highest. We had actually become pretty much a laughing stock which was a little embarrassing.
Still last year is the past...this year, so far, is finally looking like taking us back where we belong.
I have been so impressed with Neil Warnock. Looks likely to turn out to be one of our all time best managers. Here's hoping.
