  • Jamie Mackie to start in Prague ?

Rangers Miller set to warm bench for Scotland

Craig Levein is ready to sensationally axe in-form Kenny Miller for the Euro 2012 crunch in Prague, reports the Scottish Sun.

SunSport understands Scotland coach Levein will hand a shock debut to QPR rookie Jamie Mackie. He will partner Stevie Naismith in an unorthodox 4-2-2-2 formation against the Czech Republic.

It's the omission of Miller - who would have won his 50th cap in Prague - that is the biggest shock.

He leads the SPL scoring charts with 10 goals in just seven games and has also been a key figure in Gers' Champions League campaign this season.

It's a body blow for Miller, who'd hoped to enter the SFA Hall of Fame on Friday.

Speaking exclusively to SunSport before the revelations of team changes, Miller said: "My Scotland career has flown in. To make 50 caps and the Hall of Fame would be a really fantastic achievement. It would be an achievement I would be very proud of.

"If I play, it will be a great night and I just hope I can mark it with a win and a goal."

I bet Levien has been well impressed with Mackie's enthusiasm and can see that he is a major attacking threat. For christ sake i f in hope he comes back unscathed

Dont give two hoots about this game as i'm not from Scotland or the Czech Republic, but I hope he enjoys his time and comes back in one piece to play against Norwich.

good luck Jamie and I really hope you stay clear of injurys, just remember its only scotland and you will only win things at QPR.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!
