  • Just Back....from Caister...

    Soul Weekender.

Good to meet a couple of Rangers fans there (the bloke in the 70s shirt with 8 on the back and your mate). I must admit that I was utterly deflated at 450pm when I got the text that Palace had equalised, but was back up throwing a few shapes when we scored a few minutes later!

Waiting for text updates from Rangers games is nerve wracking stuff, but partying after the final whistle was worth it.

Top trip back in the day, rumour was that Robbie Vincent was doing a set? Did he show and just how old does he look now?

No idea about Robbie Vincent - He was ill last I heard?

Greg Edwards appeared last year and was good, Chris Hill is living off past reputations and was poor in my opinion.

Just remember reading somewhere that RV was going back this year. A real shame to hear that about Hilly as back in my day he was an absolute legend with Steve Walsh and Robbie V.
Not sure if you are new school or old school just re-living your youth - but I went to the first ever weekender back in 79 and just kept on going until they ran out of steam. Good the glad raggs out and went when they started up for real again in the '90's but now just feel too old to do it again........maybe when my kids are a bit older I will tell them they should go, and tag along to embarrass the hell out of them

Not sure if RV went back in May, but certainly not this time.

I first went in early 80s and started going sporadically in the late 90s. You certainly aren't too old and the music lives on...and there were some blokes there with their sons who were in their 20s, so the idea of taking the kids is not a bad one!
