If categorisation was to gain acceptance or support I would think the graduation to "C" ought to be a quite significant discount. As it is surely telling us we are getting a vastly inferior "product" for the price. I wouldn't support it myself.
On a related topic, the Palace programme was interesting in the deals they were offering up (something Rangers could learn from I think). For example, the Membership Scheme was more expensive up front but included a bigger match day discount and a couple of complimentary tickets. And whereas Rangers now do sell "bundles" of tickets to discount games (in a sort-of mini-season ticket way) , the way Rangers do it is by wrapping some unpopular games in a fixed Bundle with very popular ones (last year they were touting the Newcastle game from almost the beginning of the season). Palace offered a deal which gave one level of discount if you book six games in advance (your choice) and another one if you book 12 (again your choice of fixtures). That seems to me both much fairer and even better for the club. It will entice people who can't (for whatever reason) make all games so a season ticket is not worthwhile to nonetheless go to more than they otherwise might. And make it cheaper for the fan. Win win.
