    Neil Warnock and Jamie Mackie have both been short-listed for npower Championship Manager Of The Month and Player Of The Month awards respectively for September.

    Warnock ,who won the August accolade ,is once again amongst the nominees after the R’s enjoyed another fantastic month of results ,which saw the Hoops extend their lead at the top of the npower Championship table.Warnocks side have picked up 4 wins out 5 in September ,including impressive victories against Middlesbrough and Ipswich.

    Malky Mackay (Watford) ,Brian McDermott (Reading) and Billy Davies (Nottingham Forest) make up the nominees.

    Meanwhile Mackie is the Championships top scorer with eight league strikes ,and he netted five of these in September ,including match winning doubles against Leicester City and Ipswich Town.

    Jimmy Kebe (Reading) ,Chris Iwelumo (Burnley) and Danny Graham (Watford) complete the nominees for this award.

      Warnock got more points than McKay. We haven't lost this month. Watford lost to Swansea.

        Warnock, 100% has the managers and Mackies call up to Scotland, will seal it for him.

          True but think other factors come into these decisions don't they? Team budget, opponents, goals scored and so on? Not totally sure though.
