I have been to the majority of the games this season and i have to say that Gorkss and Connolly look an outstanding partnership. They both seem to know there roles and play them well.
For the oppositions goal kicks for example, Gorkss is the battler who chalenges for every header and uses his strength against the forward. Whereas ****nolly drops off and deals with any flick ons etc.
I dont know if this is a planned style of play or if it is a natural thing but it is working.
Even when they have th ball, it seems that Gorkss tries to get it to Connolly to take forward when possible. And i have to add that some of the balls out of defence by Connolly yesterday were sublime.
Im really pleased with this partnership, long may it continue.
