Utterly delighted, brilliant way to win a game. We weren't great and we miss Faurlin so badly. Mackie never gives anything up and chased down a poor backpass from Davids, then unselfishly squared for Tarbs to tap home. Sickening late goal from them but thought to myself I couldn't really complain if it was a draw, but then the beautiful Icelandic rose and headed in. Bit of a **** up by that immense goaly we were after...Julian something? :drunk:

Key, key result today with all the other teams near us winning. Onwards and upwards, great display from the fans today 3,342 boisterous noisy standing west Londoners. Long may it continue.

Also, for all these Palace mugs talking about how poor our support is, they had under 14,000 of their own fans for the return of NW, London derby on a Saturday. HUGE CLUB!

Big result for us even though we underperformed... but still credit where its due, a great result.

Agree with most of it. Especially the Faurlin part. We seemed to lack a bit structure in midfield when we were going forward and then was taken on the counterattack. Why havent we given Mahon another chance? Another point I want to make is that During the match I had this feeling that the team was so afraid to loose today.
Luckily enough Paddy Kenny played a blinder like the rest of the defence . But if Palace had scored when they hit the woodwork early on, the match could have been an EVEN harder one for us.
Oh and, I do also have to say that Mackie is Magic. He really is an athlete. He Could have made it to the very top in many kinds of sport. gymnastics, Icehockey and swimming to name a few.
Poor Helgusson; I pity him if he has to make place for Hulse. Eevn when I have to say that that we need another man upfront.
A main concern of mine is that we let our opponents TOO near our defence line. This pattern of play is quite common nowadays, but it is nervewrecking to witness and ends up in corner after corner against. I know it is a way to create counterattacks and let the players rest a bit, but anyway. PHEWWWW. Not really my cup of tea.

Bottomlin,. 3 points in our handbag. And hopefully we will teach teams like Norwich and Cardiff how to fight. These two teams really impresses me.Norwich more than Cardiff funnily enough. They look stroooonggg. As I see they are also a promotion favourite, big time.

I think Norwich will park the bus. As for Cardiff, they kick us to bits.
