  • Steve Wicks Is A regular Now At loftus Road

Steve Wicks seems to be a regular down at QPR now, though much of his blonde hair has gone. Always remember his flick ons at the near post !!

Maybe Gorkss should get the old Wicks song?

Six Foot Two Eyes are Blue, Kaspers Gorkss is after you!

    He needs a song ...

Great player. Loved watching him for the R's in the 80's.

Too much of a. Chelshite connection to be a rangers legend ( plus not that great anyway) but at least he's seen the light it appears , so good on him

Are you mental? he was a great player and the pillock off of Eastenders WAS named after him.

A great player from the past, good on him returning to support the R'ss
I blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles

It was my 50th last Wednesday, and my wife supprised me by making me "Official Shirt Sponsor" for the Doncaster game. I had pictures taken with Steve Wicks holding the autographed shirt. I reminded him of his running to the away fans when we beat chel$$$ at S B in the Carling Cup. He said that it was great for him because he was Captain that day.
In W12 later he was asked "Rangers or chel$$$ ?" he of course said us
Also a chel$$$ mate doesn't like Wicks because he's more of a Rangers player.

One of my all time favourite Rangers players. Him and Roeder at the back were something special. If he had a bit more pace he could have been an England international because in the air and in the tackle he was hard to beat. A rock.

Yes, a great but under-rated servant of Rangers. We used to look very safe with him and McDonald at the back with Fenwick sitting in front. Apart from Milk Cup which we will forget. I think his rep took a knock from the Chelsea move but I was always pretty clear that he was Rangers and I always got the impression he'd rather of stayed but for money. As it turned out he would have been better to stay as well.

And the aptly named IHLC is right - the Eastenders character is defo named in his honour. Original scriptwriter was rangers (as were a lot of BBC staffers next door)

Quality player and a favourite of my dear mum in her days at Rangers.

One of my favourite players as a youngster. We shafted Chelsea on the transfer fee. When left us second time, his knees were gone yet we still got £400k for him. He was gutted he was cup tied during the cup run and then suffered the ignomy of the Oxford debacle 4 years later.

Was married to the daughter of the old Chelsea owner Brian Mears. Not sure if he still is but certainly did well out of those nuptials!!
