Was anyone else from here kept by the police at the connie till 8:10? Untill all of a sudden a big push was done to get past police and many of us had to make a dash for it to get to the ground with only 20 mins played!

Finally when they let us go they decided they wanted to see everyone's tickets, thing was they only looked at a few then we all just walked through a gap they made, so that was bull too. Waste of time.
We must be the only home fans in the country who get escorted into our own ground.Queens Park RangersNPower Champions 2010/2011
PREMIER LEAGUE 2011 - ETERNITY (Oh well got that wrong, we'll be back though)

Yes I was there. Went to drop 5 tickets off at the BQ to my pal. Said hello to a mate down the side street of the Conningham when all of a sudden ob put a cordon around the group. I quickly went to swerve as I was only saying hello to someone when the copper said I couldn't move.
I must say we have some of the muggiest fans in this country, shouting, screaming & swearing at people walking by, people on bus's, smashing glass's & the whole time the copper saying the more you act up the longer you stay & did they listen? Did they fk.. P!ssed up idiot student types who would of dropped one in their strides at the first site of Millwall's mob.
Some good lads over at the BQ but my oh my them lot outside the Conny-Knobs.

Fish mate I looked around and thought my lord we have some tools following this club. Wouldn't mind if they were geezers I could half live with it cos I no they could back it up but these bell ends were skint student toff star wars model collector types who'd had 1 to many Smirnoff ice's.
One tried to crawl under the police van so he could 'scarper from the peelers' (his words)Last edited by Guest; 29-09-2010, 10:30 PM.

think it was a mix outside the connie, alot of people giving it the biggun but at the same time of course theres gonna be shouting/singing/pushing etc when you've got home fans penned in way into the game. some of it was cringy some of it was just what you'd get from any set of fans in the country.

Spot on - it was a mixed bag outside The Conningham.
Even the fella with the European Cup was wrapped up in the corden and he was only on the make (for charity like).
I saw a few who were at the Conningham with the snatch squad when around the flats at Batman Close after the game and fair play to all that lot who were only about 40 odd but still looked to stand up for themselves against almost the whole away end moving up towards White City.
I must admit though -- the few who were singing to the bird in the flat across the road did make me shake my head in disbelief.
As for the Conningham a good riot there could only add to the decor!! What a kip!
(Point taken -- "all" wasn't stated I just felt lumped in with that "them lot"...... soooooooooo touchy!)Last edited by LBLOCK; 29-09-2010, 10:45 PM.I need some time in the sunshine, I gotta slow it right down.

L Block if your honest with yourself you would realise we are talking about the ones who were shouting screaming swearing at the joe public not the sensible bods who were biding their time waiting to be released from the cordon.
All of what has been written by various posters is true. Live with it.
Maybe you were one of said #####?

Out of all the pubs in the World i would not choose the conningham to be locked in.
