obviously derry would be first choice, but otherwise id choose legs. Buzz is a great player, but just doesnt give us enough solidarity in the midfield, when it comes to tackles and getting the ball back. There were countless times that i saw Doncaster walk him like he wasnt there. If Buzz is going to play, he needs to play more of an attacking role. Legs isnt perfect but at least has the strength to win the ball

I think Derry will play, at least the first hour.

Legs is capable, but hit and miss.
I actually prefer him at RB.

If Derry is injured then it will be Leigertwood and Buzsaky in central midfield.

If Derry is fit, then Buzsaky should partner him.

Leigertwood and Derry played (and I use the word loosely) against Port Vale and were both absolutely dreadful. Memories of Mahon and Leigertwood at Cardiff, amonst many other dreadful games, will all come flooding back if ML and SD are partnered in central midfield.

He is strong, but he is not disciplined enough to just sit back. He actually thinks he is better on the ball than he is and keeps getting forward and keeps misplacing passes. Derry and Mahon, when he played, know their limitations and do the defensive work they are asked to do.

It's a shame Rowlands is not 100% ready as he would be a better option than Ledge - in fact, I believe he could also do a better job of covering for Faurlin than Buzz. Not being critical of Buzz but I just don't think he is suited to that role.

To be honest I'd be worried if Derry doesn't make the starting line-up. Legs was absoultely woeful towards the end of last season. He lacks concentration and his distribution is poor.

I really hope Warnock drills it into him that he has to sit cause if he does stray forward like he likes to do, we could be caught on the counter. Fingers crossed Derry is fit.
