seeing as we're being nostalgic, re loft terrace, can anyone remember the atmosphere at the league cup home game v. bristol rovers, early 70,s. 17000 but a rovers player said he'd played at villa with 33,000 but had not heard noise like it, don't think it's been bettered

Didn't Keegan say a few years ago when he managed Man City that the 17000 Rangers crowd made it feel like there were 50000 in the stadium?

Must have been a good 4,000 rovers fans there , that night . all thier coaches parked on the Westway
