i think its mad to read into the port vale match, cos if there was any manager in the country who had the capability to tell a team to not bother going all out to win in the first round of a cup competition, id say his initials were n.w.

I quite liked the look of Clarke when he came on against Derby. Seemed quite intelligent with the ball. One example was his ball to Aygemang for the first goal.
