No Pawl, you didnt want to sign anyone with any skill, you wanted JUST battlers, grafters and ball winners; well Pawl if we had signed just Battlers, we would not be top of the league... Goals and skill wins games, though I'm pretty sure any conversation regarding good attacking football combined with skill; is totally lost on someone such as yourself.

No Jeffro, thats what you turned it into to suit your pathetic digs at me. Go back and read them if you want.
Seeing as you like betting with all proceeds going to the tiger cubs, if you can find a post where I categorically state I did not want to sign any skillful players and only wanted battlers, grafters and ball winners, I will give £250 to the tiger cubs, if you don't, you give them £250. Time to finally put up or shut up.Last edited by paulmason; 22-09-2010, 09:20 AM.

Pawl, you didnt want Taarabt, you said he would disrupt the team, cause grief amongst the squad, and it was quite clear he wasnt that good as no one else wanted him..
We signed him, he has done what he has done (As i knew he would) and you look silly in the process (As i knew you would)
Your words , Not mine

No, I did not want to sign the stroppy git, but I have said on numerous occasions he has done very well and long may it continue. But this is how pathetic your are, you can say derry this and mackie that and bang on about crap signings all summer and how you wont get a ST because of it, but be proven wrong and you still have your pathetic digs at me. What a joker you really are.Last edited by paulmason; 22-09-2010, 09:29 AM.

Originally posted by paulmason View PostMy only beef with Taarabt was I thought he would be a bad apple with his me, me, me attitude, but he has done well so far and long may it continue and yes, we are doing very well with an additional holding midfielder, as Faurlin and Derry are doing a fine job as a defensive pair and we are top of the league.
You seem to want some sort of kudos for wanting 110% commitment on the pitch, tough tackling and good team spirit which is some thing we've all wanted for a long time and its something which is a trademark of a Warnock team.
I hate 'I told you so' threads, I really do because posters seem to want credit for things whilst they are so wide are the mark on others. I have decided just for you to dig up 2 threads I started about Taarabt to demonstrate how short sighted you were compared to other posters on this MB.
Whilst others have held their hands up about Derry and Hill outright where they were too quick to judge you with regards to Taarabt have just opted to give Adel a little pat on the back and credit 'the effort and commitment of the rest of the team', FFS the team is built around Taarabt.
Jeffro is right you have an issue with flair players who are perceived as lazy or not team players. Given the choice you'd have 11 Shaun Derry's on the pitch, you have never identified the importance of balance between flair players and workhorses, you are the narrow minded poster here no one else.Last edited by W12_Ranger; 22-09-2010, 12:03 PM.

Tickets are £20 all donations welcome.

1) Spurs fans called him Two Ball not me, I just used it as at the time, it was well suited as he never passed and that's why the spurs fans called him it in the first place.
2) You can't understand that I like teams that play as a team and not a team of individuals, that always come unstuck in the end.
3) I accept that people have a different opinion of players, so they should accept I may not agree with them and visa versa. For example, your hatred of Fitz Hall, whereas some people might think he does a good job.
4) As far as the "Whilst others have held their hands up about Derry and Hill" etc, what a load of ********, all summer you and others harped on about how crap they were and demonised anyone who dares say they think they are good signings. That is where all this flair crap came from because I thought Hill, Mackie and Derry were good signings and did not want to sign Taaradt.
5) I was happy with Buzz as our 'flair' player who also happened to be a team player, where as last season Taarabt was not.
6) Taarabt is a different player this season than he was last season.
7) Who the hell are you to judge my opinion. Either accept I have a different opinion to you, or shut up because I wont change it just because you dont agree.Last edited by paulmason; 22-09-2010, 04:07 PM.
