Unbelievable goal. I was in our ST seats in the Upper Loft and there was a seconds worth of unbelieving silence after the ball hit the net, then the place exploded.
Worth remembering that it did win Goal of the Season, well every Goal of the Season competition apart from the MotD one!
edit.....additionally, Jermain Defoe scored a better overhead kick AGAINST Man Utd last season.........Comment

If Cantona or Shearer had scored Sinclairs overhead kick at the time it would have been classed the greatest PL goal of all time. As it was scored when we were in the second tier against Barnsley in the Cup it doesn't receive half the amount of adulation it deserves.
Some have tried to question the keepers positioning but what keeper in the world could have seen that coming, a truly world class goal, one of a kind IMO.
