  • Big name players, would it be different

IMO no, I would rather have the bunch we have at the moment who have fire, determination and wanting to succeed rather than overpaid big name end of their career players who will have played in the top tier therefore imo would be taking it easy and taking the money.
For now keep it as it is, Neil is a great man manager and seems to have instilled his grit in the team and when required we can then buy that player who can continue to do the business at whatever cost as big money or not Neil seems to know how to find them.

    could not agree more
Dyslexic so please don't feel the need to correct my spelling mistakes as I really don't give a **** and before you say use spell checker if it is spelt right / wright but not in context spell check is useless

      good post and I agree.

However there is a long way to go and I expect over the long term middlesborough and cardiff to be in the top 6. It doesn't always work when u spend big but 9 times out of 10 it does. I think Neil has done a fantastic job finding real bargains and that is why he is a proven quality manager.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

yes and no. Clearly Warno has developed a great team spirit which might be more fragile with lots of big time charlies. my only concern - and I know there is an argument to say 'lets worry about that if/ when we come to it' - is that if we are promoted how many of the current squad would cut it in the prem. might need yet another major rebuilding exercise.
