How many will Mackie get this season, I do not want to jinx him, far from it, it's just a guessing game, so I'll go first, 24 goals. What do you guys think?

mackie will hit a dry spot at some point this season. he is being overlooked by opposition because they stick two men on taarabt and helguson is able to keep the centerhalfs busy. thus giving mackie time and space.
agyemang did score 7 in 8 when he joined.. then rarely scored. difference however is mackie for me isnt supposed to be our goal scorer.. so if he gets 10-15 this season ill be very happy.Soldier: "im on reconnaissance sir.. im looking for our camouflage expert.. have you seen him?"
Lovejoy: "No?!"
Soldier: "GOD DAMNIT THAT GUYS GOOD!"

The flying start might be something to do with the "ridiculous target" NW has set him. He also said that "he's well capable of reaching it". When asked by a journo to divulge what the target was Warno replied with a wry smile "that is something I definitely could not reveal!"

Agree with Gaz. Think Tabs deserves a lot of credit for Mackie's goals because the opposition are putting a couple of guys on him, leaving Mackie in acres of space. You saw that with the Leicester pre-match comments, it was all "we'll nulify Taraabt and then we'll be fine" to which I immediately thought "oh great, that leaves Jamie free to have another goal bonanza". Now other teams are sure to take more notice of Mackie. The test will be whether running from deep he will still be able to evade markers as any sensible opposition manager is going to asign a Derry style defensive midfield player to marshall him. Suspect over the coming month or so we will have a clearer idea of just how good he is.
