Routledge vs Mackie

Who wouldve thought that a virtual unknown outside of Plymouth has suddenly become much more of an asset to us than the previously coveted Wayne Routledge?
Mackie has an exemplary attitude, desire and willingness to graft for the team. He is clearly determined to succeed individually and for his club and team mates at QPR.

This is in stark contrast to Routledge who often looked disinterested in a Rangers shirt and wasn't half the player that Mackie was/is in a hooped shirt.

For all his skill and wizardry, Routledge couldn't lace Mackie's boots.

Half the time there was no end product with routledge wheras mackie has that and much more also has great attitude

Funny enough we were talking about that yesterday on the way back.

Our 'wingers' aren't the type to get past a full back and put endless crosses in. We play similar to C*****a and the Arsenal way with one up top and all our midfielders bombing on with Derry just holding and Faurlin just controlling the pace of the game.

I think Mackie offers so much more to his game than Routledge did. Now i would take mackie over routledge any day. Mackie gets back and defends, the guy has got so much more energy
