  • On the way back

We were good for 30 mins then outplayed by a good leicester side who I feel will be in the top 6 come the end of the season.

Kenny - two great saves, I feel confident in him (more than I did with cerny)
Walker - good, brilliant going forward and he is solid
Gorkks - shaky, made some good tackles
Connolly - vital tackles and information, a bit shaky though.
    Hill - solid
Derry - very good performance, crunching tackles.
Buzsaky - good for 30 mins then dissapeared
Hogan - very good, threatening and good crossing
Taarabt - he was sh*t. Tricks and flicks weren't coming off and he was lazy. He was very frustrated, this winter will be hard for him.
Mackie - motm, if the 100k price is right he is the best buy of the year. Great header and brilliant 2nd
Helguson - average, held it up well but beaten in air by hobbs

    Subs

Ageymang - ok, his touch is woeful. He is a decent impact sub but we need better players.
Leighterwood - can't pass, can't tackle, can't shoot. How is he a proffesional footballer? He is just big and quick.

These two need to get to a running track because that is the proffession they would be good at.

I am delighted we won but we were poor. Best atmosphere in a long while and we sold out our allocation. I was sat next to the leicester fans and we just gave them sh*t for the whole match. And to the person who sang 'your gonna die from a f*cking heart attack' to the fat drummer, that was brilliant

    Brilliant atmosphere and good win

    Onwards and upwards

Agree with everything Del Trotter said but it is a good sign of our resilliance if we can play poorly for an hour and still come away with 3 points

      U RRRrrrrrrssssssssssss

All good teams can dig out results when they don't play well, i think thats two now, very good signs imo , still only seven games gone though , must keep feet firmly on the ground.

          50 point mark ?

If we reach this safety point earlier than usual, shall we have a push for the play offs ??

Agree with most of that Del, but

Gorkks, I thought he was outstanding ! Potential MotM.
Derry, i thought he was great BUT gave the ball away too often.
Ephraim, apart from a couple of good crosses as you say, he was rarely involved. Average for me, but he has been on a purple patch.
Taarabt - hardly sh1t. It was certainly his worst game for us. But the fact that Leicester dealt with him is a sign of things to come. But wasn't he involved in the 1st goal ? His tricks didn't work today, ut he still creates most of our chances.

Fans ? Not as good as Ipswich.
And the heart attack comment ! Sorry, a good friend of mine and not overweight, died from a heart attack last week. So excuse me if I don't agrre to that ( i appreciate that's a very personal thing)

Other than that, I agree it was a different result for us regards performance in that we didn't dominate.
And much of your report is valid, it just shows how we all see different things.

Facts are....top of the league and loving it. Long may it and you continue.

And you are rightly welcome to express it.
Taarabt, he'll have many better days.
The other thing, no problem, it was just a little too close to home, I may have overreacted. Forgive me, youre a good person, and so was my mate !

Lets all enjoy our current plight and long may it continue.
Good luck and best wishes to you.

I suppose Leigertwood's perfect slide-rule pass to Mackie for his 2nd goal must have passed you by.

Credit where its due and all that.
