Fact is, we pushed them to play deep every time they got possession, which led to the inevitable balls over the top which Gorkss and Connolly dealt with. When they kept the ball on the ground they threatened to do more damage, although playing Waghorn on the wing and Fryatt on his own as a Johnny-no-mates up front meant they couldn't do as much damage as they should.
And when he took Dyer off for Howard, going 4-3-3, it gave us more room in midfield, so our opportunities to break quickly increased -- leading to our second goal.
Sousa's tactics were supposed to have been tailored to beat us, but they were flawed from the outset.

End of the day NW won the tactical battle, as he seems to be getting into the habit of this season.
