Wouldn't have been so bad if QPR hadn't just been anonymous. They barely did anything. Their fans might as well enjoy it while it lasts because if that's how they're going to play all year they won't go up.

sounds like we didn't play well today but we still won - that sounds like a team that will get promoted!

Said I'd be happy with a scrappy 1-0 win at H/T. So I'm chuffed!

Playing a Sousa team away is always gonna be hard graft, Sousa sets his teams up to retain possession and play deep, getting the ball in behind his defences are a rarity. You will never see champagne football in these types of fixtures, on Tuesday Warnock showed up Keanes tactical naivity, these wins are as much about tactics as anything else. I thought we were taking a risk today starting with Buzsaky but with Sousa no doubt setting his team up to sit deep it was may have been another good decision Warnock, looking forward to todays 'Just Back' threads.

We're not going to play well every week and as has already been said any game involving one of Sousa's team is going to be awful because of how he gets his team to play. Mark of a good side winning when you don't play well and it's something we seem to be able to do this season!

QPR played us perfectly, came out and attacked, battered us for the first 20 minutes. Then got their goal and sat back and let us pass it around meaninglessly and take harmless long shots.

We did look better when Howard and Fryatt were back up top together though, time to go back to the tried and test me thinks, but overall QPR beat us easily without getting out of first gear.

Thought this was the case against Boro at home as well, Ipswich away sounds like we did step up but the non less you get the feeling this team can go up an extra notch when necessary.
