My Guess for Next Month or So

I'm guessing a very good manager will be announced near end of the month

I'm guessing money will spent on new strikers and players will be sold that are surplus to requirements.

The feel good factor will return and we will be looking forward again to the first game of the season

Did you start this thread because you were told to or did take it upon yourself to do a bit of guess work?

I've a scenario for you...we appoint an average Championship manager, we sell £4 million worth of players, replace them with £3 million and Flav & Co put £1 million aside for the compensation package for our new manager that gets sacked around Xmas.

In the transfer market we'll sign a couple of players who add real value to the squad, you'll spend the rest of the season singing GP's plaudits and trying dig out all of those who think we'd be better of without him. We'll also sign a few useless mercenaries but we'll forget about them because all hail GP on signing a couple of decent players.

We will miss out on Taarabt completely because he in Premiership player and we are probably not that interested in signing him any way because like Lopez he could add a serious amount of class to the squad.

In the meantime Paulo Sousa is appointed MANAGER of one of our Championship rivals and leads them to a Play Off spot more than likely ahead of us who will finish in 7th.

As for the feel good factor returning everyone gets excited at the start of the season anyway because we have been without football for 3 months. Though I am looking forward to the 500 odd 'I've just renewed' threads during the build up YAWN.

Thing is Pete there's nearly 250 people viewing this MB if you were to turn around and say any different it could harm ST sales.
