  • Injuries not so bad as we thought?

Official website of Queens Park Rangers for the latest news from Loftus Road

Neil Warnock has revealed R's midfield lynchpin Ali Faurlin was substituted as a 'precaution' against Ipswich Town on Tuesday night.

The Argentine limped out of the action late on in the first half at Portman Road, as the R's eventually coasted to a 3-0 win.

Warnock told www.qpr.co.uk: "Ali's groin was tight.

"We're not going to take any risks at this stage of the season, because we've got so many games coming up."

The R's gaffer also revealed that Bradley Orr is set to miss Saturday's trip to Leicester City with a calf injury, commenting: "Bradley damaged his calf against Boro' on Saturday.
"He'll probably be touch-and-go for Doncaster, but then he should be okay."

Despite Orr's injury, Warnock was full of praise for loan debutant Kyle Walker, following his move from Spurs.

"I made a decision to ask Harry (Redknapp) for a favour over the weekend and he came up trumps with Kyle," he said.

"Kyle only came in on Monday morning, but Sheffield lads settle in quickly(!) and he did very well."

    And the video version... http://www.qpr.co.uk/articles/201009...264332_2154449

Love the reaction to Taarabt's dummy spitting.
That's why Warnock is a top manager.

I see Ramage is out for the season so we might not see him play again as i think his contract might be up in the summer.Just with Hall being injury prone and with Ramage out might leave us abit short at CB

          True.

But Clint Hill, Walker and (at a push) Legs can play there.
          Not ideal though.

I'm sure Warnock is aware of that possible problem, and has a target in mind... if the worst happens.
Like he did with Kyle Walker.

Is Borrowdale still at the club? Just concerned if Hill gets a knock or suspended Connolly will get moved to LB and we dont really want to be disrupting our CB pairing, the more games they get together the better.

Fulham is a typically diverse London area with something for everyone - from the hustle and bustle of North End Road Market, to the refined chicness of the iconic Fulham Road. It boasts superb pubs and restaurants, two Premier League football clubs and excellent transport links.

Bit gutted that Faurlin could be out for a few weeks(?)
He's my favourite player, bar none... and makes us tick. Especially at home. He's like a quarter back... the Fabregas of this league.

But when we can replace him with Akos Buzsaky - it makes things seem not so bad after all.

Have to agree, my favourite player too, if I wasn't so old i'd have his name on the back of my replica shirt.

Faurlin is always right there the moment Derry had knocked someone to the ground. Of course Faurlin isn't scared to get stuck in their either but there seems to be a deliberate plan with Derry hitting the man and then Faurlin picks up the loose ball and sprays it round like Wilkins. Buzsaky can (to a point) play that role but he has to get his positional sense worked out. Faurlin seems to play from one edge of the 'D' to the other whereas Buzsaky will want to get involved in corner kicks and free kicks etc and then could be found out of position. Hopefully NW will work out who will replace AF and get them working on their positional play over the next couple of days.

Did we ever find out who actually found Faurlin?

Connolly 10/10, hopefully this is an indication that Hall won't be walking back in the team.

connors 10/10? I thought you said he was far to slow?

surely that would make him a 7 at a push?
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Oh hello Thrush thinking of repurchasing the season ticket you sold back to the club at the start of the season.
