Helguson's penalties are fine. He has a method and mixes up what he does. Usually he'll wait for the keep to shift his weight one way then plant the ball the other. Last night, Fulop didn't do that so Helguson tucked it down by the post.

Not a problem at all. I don't think he'd be likely to miss as many as Taarabt would

Agreed. There seems to be a belief that the likes of Rowlands, Buzsaky and Taraabt will never miss a penalty. But as I've already said Helguson has scored 3 from 3 and we shouldn't go changing this until he misses one. It doesn't help his confidence and it doesn't help team unity (especially if the next player misses).

its more a case that helguson has done the same thing in all 3 of his penalties.

No - he changed it last night. Watch it again. He waits for Fulop to move, Fulop doesn't (still bouncing around) so he's tucked it in the corner.

The other pens, he's waited for the keeper to move and put it the other side.

Perfect technique to score if not look "Hollywood".

I've no doubt he'd drill one if the keeper doesn't move early.

And if he doesn't have the intelligence to change it and the next keeper he comes up against has done his homework then he'll miss but that doesn't mean that any other player is more likely to score. Helguson has had the intelligence to score 3 from 3 and will no doubt be thinking it's time to change. Alexander fires every penalty as hard as he can into the roof of the net for Burnley and no keeper can get to them. Lampard drags each penalty to his left and aims to get them in off the post but again and again he outsmarts the keeper.

HH will miss a penalty but whilst he keeps scoring them he should be given the opportunity to keep taking them. As I've said twice now what happens if Taraabt or someone else takes them and misses? It wouldn't help HH's confidence and wouldn't help team unity.

No real problem with Helguson's penalties, just thought last night they may have given it to Mackie to get his hat-trick or Buzz because he scored as the whistle went for the foul.

I dont believe in a player taking penalties for any reason apart from they are the best one for the job. If we are winning 3-0 with 1 minute left, sentimental reasons for a hat-trick would be fine.
