HH does do a lot of running but he does lack the accuracy but lets not be too critical they were all immense. Smith looked OK needs match practice but the depth in the squad is great
I blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles

Helguson as he can win headers and keep the ball when their is no space to play the ball through the middle.

      Smith plays when either

      1) Mackie loses form, needs a break or gets a knock
      2) If we need to change to 442 then he accompanies Helguson

          ipswich fan blames the ref

on radio sudbury on way back ipswich fan said the ref as reffed something like 6 qpr games and we have won 5 and drew 1 so hes a good luck charm for us ,they will try anything but admit we were brilliant and made them look sh*t

HH did assist on both Super-Mack's goals so he was kind of important in the win?

Id stick with Heider, don't think Smith is the right type of player to play the lone striker role. Much better as a winger.

Agreed. Although NW has said Smith can play anywhere in the front three he doesn't have the height or strength to play as a lone man. He could play alongside another striker in a traditional 4-4-2. Hulse is HH's biggest threat to his position.

I think the only one who could take Icemans place would be Hulse,as Smith is a different type of player

HH has been brilliant so far this season - his work rate is fantastic and for a shorty he gets up and wins more than his share of headers. He is undroppable just now and no way is Tommy Smith right for that role. As someone already said Hulse would be the obvious change but he will be lucky to get in ahead of Heidar right now.

hh is a pivitol part of our success this season.
he has given his all and without him we wouldnt of been winning by 3 or 4 goals every game.
anyone who says he should be dropped should go straight to the doctors and ask for help on their mental problems.
oh and i HATED helguson pre season, if before may you told me he had gone to stevenage id of drove him there.

Fella you didn't have to tell us that you haven't been to many games! Not even worth a debate. Two totally different players. Smith is competition for Mackie and Hogan. HH's only competition from now to January is Hulse unless someone else comes in on loan. HH doesn't have to worry about losing his place for now and has been SUPERB so far this season. Missed a few chances that he should of scored against Barnsley but other than that he has been one of our better players. Don't mean for this to sound like I am having a cheap pop at you fella, so I apologise if it comes across in this manner as I know it's easy for things to sound that way when written down in text
