The players were fantastic. Fought hard to win every challenge. The team spirit is immense. We were so much better than Ipswich. The gulf in class was apparent throughout. It really was a top notch display from the R's.
This is the best team spirit I've seen since the early eighties.

well done for travelling mate, bet the trip home was alot better with 3 points, a clean sheet and another teams unbeaten record in tatters
That was another SUPERB performance today. Every player again was immense and first half we made Ipswich look like mugs!
MOTM for me was Jamie Mackie, not just for his 2 goals but his workrate, desire, the way he gets to balls he has no right to get to. He was unplayable.
All round brilliant, I hope Faurlin is ok as he went off on about 30 mins and was replaced by Buzz. Buzz scored a blinder but play was brought back for the pen which HH despatched experterly again. Hogan was brilliant etc.....
Another professional second half display or seeing the game out.
One down side was Adel's little strop when taken off...
Last season, away games were written about with a sense of anger. Tonight, they are written about with a little bit of disbelief.
QPR fans on the tube home still couldn't believe it. "Did we really just go and thrash the third-placed team in the league 3-0 at their place, and probably should have won 4 or 5-0?"
Will this performance make a believer out of me? Probably not until May am I going to get really excited. I don't know, but the recent history of Rangers f****** it all up at the very end - hence why the chant "About f****** time, about f****** tiiiiiime, Rangers are back, about f****** time" gained so many fans has me still thinking about potential doomsday scenarios at Leicester, Forest and, God help us, Palace, as well as the fact that I may be praying to get out alive when the world's worst fans (Millwall) come to Loftus Road in a few weeks' time.
What I will say is this: today, we looked a cracking side today. There was balance (Kyle Walker looks a cracking signing - can we sign him up please????), skill in the midfield - not only with our Moroccan star, but also with Derry, Faurlin/Buz, and the finishing of Mackie and Helguson. Mackie was the undoubted star of tonight, working his butt off relentlessly and completely unselfish when it came to the chance of taking a penalty.
Thumbs up goes to: Mackie: two goals and a bit of selflessness.
Thumbs down goes to: The ref. Could he have just let Buz' wonder strike stand?
Which takes me back to the question: "Did we really just go and thrash the third-placed team in the league 3-0 at their place, and probably should have won 4 or 5-0?"
Yes, we did. See it in lights: Ipswich 0, QPR 3. We're top of the league, with a goal difference of +15 and we're three points clear.
One fantastic night for sure, the fans top notch all night. I have several Ipswich fans who said we were the best away crowd for many a game and defo the best for an evening game for years.
I blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles
