  • Jamie WHO?

Yep - I was one of those in July / August.

The answer at the moment is MACKIE THE GOAL MACHINE.

Another two great takes tonight and he wanted the ball off HH for the hatrick.

    Teek a booow son
I need some time in the sunshine, I gotta slow it right down.

don't worry, think many of us were a bit sceptical, stupidly as it turns out. was it benny or one of the regular posters was pretty well alone in raving about the signing.

Indeed. Must admit I thought "honest toiler, will work his socks off, no doubt has good attitude, remember he played well and scored against us late on one match, but in the final analysis not good enough as a first team regular for a team wanting promotion." At the moment you would have to say he challenges Tabs and Helguson (another player who won few plaudits, though in this case I at least have always been a supporter) as our most significant player this season.

We though no way we could do anything with HH adn Mackie as our strikeforce.
Look now they have 10 goals after 6 games and are 1 and 3 of the top goalscorers

Helguson was always a useful player, just certain boo boys chose to write him off after 45 minutes of his first game (?) away at Palace from memory.

That be the one when his first touch in a Rangers shirt was to miss an open goal

Remember it well, but I always maintain about strikers that better to be in the right place missing them (Helguson) than in the wrong place looking really elegant (Agyman).

Plymouth wish they'd held out for more money! Ha! What a fantastic footballer he really is. There is something he has got that many others don't and that is a real passion for football, it is so refreshing to watch. Keep it up Macks!

It isn't always about how many goals you get,it's his all round play, winning headers, holding up the ball and muscling his way in that i've been impressed with,at the moment looking like the perfect partner for mackie, and you cant knock our GD,somethings working and he is working really hard !!!

How many panalties has HH got - I think both that Taarabt scored - and he has at least 3 assists. Could that be he playd part in 9 of the goals

With respect think you are being v harsh there. I sadly had to bow out tonight so can't comment on his performance at Ipswich but you saw against \boro what he contributed to the team.
