Did anyone catch this on Saturday?? Having been in Cuba, did not have much time to listen. The aim at the moment is to provide a show which starts at 2pm and finshes around 6pm. The club plan to involve ex-players and no doubt add to the match-day experience. I am sure the next home game against Doncaster Rovers will have some teething problems, but should be fully functional by the time we play Millwall.\\ Brian and myself discussed the idea with the club and its great for them to accept, as will create interaction between fan and club. At the moment the idea is for home games, but no doubt in time it will be expanded
It is so good the club have taken on board the ideas to exapnd the profile of the club especially for fans who cannot make games. The plan in the long term is to bring a show for away games, it might turn out, we do a show late Saturday evening from the ground or Sunday.\ The power of the internet and technology now enables you to broadcast l;ive through QPR Player
With the club going through such a great spell, it would be hoped that something like this will be a positive, wouldn't expect anyone to see a negative side and hopefully this will lead to more fan interaction, bring the fans more depth coverage in the immediate term for home games, but in the longer term away games. Anyone that misses the show especially answering questions or interviews, a podcast is planned to be put up shortly afterwards.
The club, and The Match day show team are keen on making this idea work, up to date its been a matter of turning on QPR Player at 3pm and having it finish at 450pm, this way it will be purely QPR before and after. Many times it can be so irratating trying to get QPR coverage, but getting none or getting coverage of other teams on the radio before our club is even metioned !!, through these programmes it will be possible to have full QPR coverage leading to phone ins etc etc, its even conceivable that we could broadcast this in the ground too at a later date
If any supporter has any ideas on how this idea can be expanded, we would very much like to hear from you.
You rrrrrrrrrrr'ssssssssssssss
