  • Is this the worst QPR Match report EVER?.....

Just been sent this, know its the daily star but sorry some of the errors in this report are just really bad!!!! See how many mistakes you can spot

    http://dailystar.co.uk/posts/view/15...Middlesbrough/

A DOUBLE from Hogan Ephraim and a Heidar Helguson penalty led QPR to an emphatic victory yesterday over lacklustre Middlesbrough.

Neil Warnock's men sit pretty at the top of the Championship after a scintilating second half display, but for Gordon Strachan, he'll want to forget this result very quickly.

As the away support vented their anger at the Scot, the home fans began chanting: "You're getting sacked in the morning."

Both sides produced efforts on goal in the first half, with Ephraim and Adel Taraabt instrumental in every Rangers move, while Tarmo Kink was continuing to up his price tag with some close strikes.

The away side should have taken the lead on the half-hour mark, when Kris Boyd managed to fluff a shot wide from just four yards following a knock down from a corner.

Shortly after, QPR fans were on the feet twice in the space of five minutes when Taraabt and Helguson both tumbled to the ground inside the penalty area, but both were waved away by the referee.

Moments before half time, Taraabt sent a rasping drive towards the bottom right corner from 30 yards, only to see Boro 'keeper Jason Steele tip his effort away for a corner.

It was baffling to see the score goalless at the break, but 15 minutes into the second period, QPR were 3-0 to the good.

They made the breakthrough thanks to Helguson's penalty after he was bundled to the floor as he attempted to connect to a fizzing cross from the left, leaving the referee no hesitation in pointing the spot.

This was just the start of the away sides downfall, as minutes later, Ephraim got on the scoresheet, latching onto a cross and powering a shot past Steele to send the Loftus Road faithful into ecstasy.

And just three minutes later, they extended their impressive lead thanks to Jamie Mackie. The summer signing has had a major impact at Loftus Road and he was on hand to poke home from close range after Middlesbrough failed to clear a corner.

To sum up the away sides afternoon, they had their first effort on goal in the second half after 74 minutes through Gary O'Neil, but the effort flew well wide.

In the closing stages, Ephraim nearly grabbed himself a hatrick.

After dazzling down the left-hand side, the former West Ham graduate cut inside and sent a curling effort beyond Steele only to see it rattle the crossbar.

It would have topped off a fantastic afternoon for him and his side, but they had to settle for three goals as Neil Warnock's men look serious promotion contenders.

QPR: Kenny; Orr (Ramage), Hill, Gorkss, Connolly, Derry, Faurlin, Taraabt (Buzsaky), Ephraim, Mackie (Smith), Helguson.

Middlesbrough: Steele; Bates, Wheater, McManus, McDonald (Hoyte), Bailey (Halliday), Kink, Robson, O'Neil, Taveres, Boyd (Lita).

No, this is worse ! Just.

"A HATRICK from Rowan Vine and an Angelo Balanta penalty saved QPR's blushes to earn a point in a lifeless 3 all draw against a lacklustre Berwick Rangers."

            Agreed ?

If the season were to end now we would be crowned Champions. Fact.

Or are you being ironic ?
