  • Was 3 nil a fair result? Good atmposhere?

I am still buzzing, 37 today! Woken up with a massive hangover after spending the whole day on the lash with Tarbie and co @ our new supporters club !
Crawled in at 1130pm smashed my wife and little girl were still awake as I fell through the door they were singing
"we are top of the league" music to my ears

First game i've missed this season, only spoke to my uncle briefly, he said we were worthy winners and should have had a couple of penalties

from what I've read, Derry, gorks and hh stood out.

    How were the crowd?
How does rank against other performances this season
    did 3 nil flater us?
    Any injuries?

    Loving my team !

Crowd was great, but you were missed !

    Scoreline slightly flattered.
Honours pretty even 1st half, a well organized Boro had the majority of possession and should have scored from a corner. Harder to miss. Adel tightly marked but he turned and curled a great shot just before half time with their keeper making a fine save. There were other half chances but at half time I feared we might miss the chance to impress a big crowd to encourage them to come back again.

2nd half, 2 sublime passes from Adel (he really is becoming a great team player) took them by surprise and before they could regroup, we got a third from a corner.

Boro were not at the races 2nd half. And Ephraim nearly curled a beauty from the corner of the penalty area at the end. Sadly hitting the post with their keeper well beaten.
But 4-0 really would have been harsh. Although perhaps like Barsnley who also held their own in the 1st half, i thought.

Injuries ? Ramage came on for Orr when Lita came on. That might have been tactical coz Orr seemed OK but then Ramage got injured and had to play upfront for last 8 mins or so with Derry covering RB and no subs left.

For me, Gorkks & Connolly played well, keeping Boyd in their pocket (he was very disappointing, looked overweight and immobile)
Derry, Hogan, HH were very good and Mackie ran chased everything again deserving a goal. But Adel slightly shades MotM for me for his 2 superb passes which set up a win.

EphrIm a close 2nd and a nice touch by him at the end giving his shirt away to a fan in the Loft.

Finally, funniest moment. Robson (?) for them getting the hump about getti g space to take a corner and kicking and throwing a photographers kit and seat around.
Ooooh, get you Robbo. Good corner though, they should have scored.

Second half we were awsome, derserved the 3-0 victory in my opinion.Atmosphere was good also.Poor turnout for Middlesbrough, but I'm sure there was more than 14,784 there!

The R Block was really rammed, looked over full to me ... right along the back 4/5 rows, with Rangers fans even standing on the stairs! I do question the 14,784 gate .... couldn't see many empty seats on 3 sides of Loftus Road! Even the dodgy bad view seats in Ellerslie Road, that never really get sold had fans in yesterday

Lol - very precise Ric Roc!
But is that qty always avail ? I think Millwall have been given just over 2.5k assuming the corners aren't sold due to security
