  • QPR v Middlesbrough Preview (Media)

    Gazette

PATRICK Agyemang has been kept in cotton wool ahead of QPR’s home clash with Middlesbrough tomorrow for fear the Hoops will be left without any frontline strikers.

He's playing a bit to the gallery here methinks. If Helguson is OK we are no differently off tbh are we. And seems no real reason to suspect HH isn't alright. Neil must know. Just simple and sensible caution over big dave

I admit I am a little surprised that German is being loaned out. And if Neil was that spooked about the situation up front I doubt he'd be raising that prospect now. I'm not that bothered about him going out but am surprised. He is more than reasonable back up than some. He's certainly better than Clarke imo (who I note doesn't get a mention as either on the sick list or, I am pleased to see, as one of the options to cover it).
