"Happy camp" is encouraging. He did (as the interviewer picked up on) look happy and relaxed himself didn't he? Nice to see. And another nod of thanks in Amit's direction. For those that didn't see it he confirmed Smith on loan with view to Perm. Said he gave options and could "play anywhere across front 3 and in the hole"

See he managed to weave bloody Palace reference in again though!!

As you say a great interview. Just hope his award isn't the kiss of death. I just hope he is a contender for September given we've go Middlesborough, Ipswich, Leicester & Millwall, all half decent sides!

For those that missed it (and asked for gist) the main theme was that everyone at Rangers is enjoying the moment (with things going well) at the moment, but aware that this spirit will be tested soon enough. Good spirit throughout the club, "no big hitters" in the dressing room (mixed blessing there!), Said he'd been after Smith for many years. Knew him well and same of Hulse. Grateful to Board for helping him get the players he wanted. Enjoying London (had a nod at his time at Palace enthusing him about the game again) and said more or less that equally happy at QPR "a great club".

It was largely simply an acceptance puff piece for his MoM award.

You use to be able to get it on TV Catchup but now its a subscription channel you'll have to do some digging around for it. www.justin.tv normally has a link to every live TV Stream so I would start looking there.

The interview is over now. He said the following:

- Really enjoying it.
- Confirmed Smith has signed on a series of loan deals and should go perm
- Said he knows Smith well and Hulse and both are good additions - Wanted Smith previously at his other clubs
- Mentioned how great the training camps were in Cormwall and Italy
- Mentioned how good the squad is
- Said we'll win some and lose some but we have to enjoy it and that we are going to have a real good go at it this season
- He wants promotion
- Mentioned about Rowlands getting closer
- Said we have a fantastic team spirit with a great mix of senior and youth
- Said about HQ being a great stadium when the crowd get behind the team
- Closed on saying thanks again to the board and Amit and also said his award belongs to everyone, the players & the fans. Just hopes it doesn't end this weekend and that he hopes we do better than the 5-1 result against Middlesborough that we suffered last season!
