  • My daughter is a Mascot on Saturday !

My daughter Amelia is one of the Mascots on saturday. I will be a proud Dad when she runs on the pitch. I hope that she brings us good luck. I've told her that if she scores a goal in the loft end and celebrates with a cartwheel, I will give her 5 "Stars"

My son was a QPR mascot once. He did an amazing dribble all over the pitch.

I told my Missus that I thought 3 months old was a bit young to be a mascot but she wouldn't have it.

Hope you all enjoy the day mate.

I was a mascot a few years ago and all I remember is getting my foot stuck in the net, followed by falling flat on my face, right in front of the loft

blimey james was Rowlands happy about walking out hand in hand with a 6ft 2 teenager?
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Fantastic. Enjoy it. My 9 (then 7) yr old got the chance but got cold feet a few days before and pulled out. The thought of the crowd seemed to spook him. Of course now he says he wants to do it. Grrrrr! Chances of it coming out again are pretty slight. I always thought it would be a kiddie R's dream day. I hope yours has a wonderful day.

My favourite mascot-of-sorts, however, will remain the young girl at Selhurst Park last year who lifted her Palace top to reveal the hoops underneath, much to the delight of our end. Funny.

I am glad to hear that the club is still providing a mascot opportunity free of charge!

The day will have poinancy for me as it would have been my mums 90th birthday on Saturday. She was a QPR fan and used to go with her Dad, my Grandad in the 1920s. She died last year aged 88.
