Dont suppose many will have the good grace to do so though. They would probably prefer to hunt for the next story to complain about.
god you moan and whine and look for any opportunity to have a dig at fellow R's fans...... shameful really
great move by the club if true, looks like someone with some brains is now calling the shots

QPR will sign Tommy Smith on three separate one-month loan deals in a bid to keep him at Loftus Road until January.

Rangers have turned to a temporary move for the Portsmouth midfielder after the Football League ruled the clubs failed to complete the transfer by last Tuesday's 6pm deadline.

However, a club can only loan a player for a maximum of 93 days outside the transfer window, which would take Smith up to Watford game on December 11.

But rather than sign the player for a consecutive period, clever Rangers will create gaps between the three loans to ensure he can play in SIX fixtures over the festive period before completing a permanent move in January.

As a qualified tax advisor I could not have done better myself!

      LOl!!!!!!
when i saw the thread title i was sure we had signed Roberts, but its a thread abouts Smiths loan, entitled"absolutely superb move".....contender for the most overly excited thread of the year i think

        Hmm

The cypriotic player on loan will do us good in that respect. If we like him it will be a decent buy, I reckon.

I actually hope they didn't and someone at the club actually had the sense to work it out themselves. If they did read my thread I hope they notice the slight mistake which cross it dave correctly pointed out. I had forgot to include the day that the player signs as one of the 93 days meaning that for Smith to play against Watford as an emergency loan signing he'd need to sign on Friday and not tomorrow as I suggested.

However if we do the deal like the Fulham Chronicle are suggesting then we should eradicate the problem highlighted. Although as others suggest that by doing the deal in this way we do use up 3 loans instead of 1 which hopefully won't come back to haunt us later on in the season. I hope though we will be making minimum loan deals so wouldn't be faced with such a problem.

This is the point really - it won't hurt us this season as we are now back to the proud Rangers we once were rather than being LoanRangersAreUs like last season.

I think you will find that I neither moan or whine at anything the club do. Personally I find it shameful that others do. If that's having a dig, then I'm guilty.

Just in case I am missing something, perhaps you would be so kind as to enlighten me as to how criticising the way the club do things, prior to being in posession of the facts, is either helpful, fair or indeed being a fellow R's fan.

None of the people I know who sit around me at Loftus Road or those I have a few beers with in the pub beforehand, moan about the club constantly. God only knows what pleasure those that do get out of it.

For sticking up for the club I have supported for 40 years?

As opposed to those that stamp their feet like 2 year olds when we don't spend x million on average ex Reading players for example ?

OK then, thanks for the advice.

I have just read the article and nowhere does it say he will be able to play in all games leading up to Jan 1st. It just says he would be able to play in the fixtures over the xmas period, which leads me to believe that he would be missing for some games along the way between loans.
